Internet Browser - error report followed by browser closing

When I try to open the Browser I get an error
report "send/don't send" dialogue - whichever I choose,
the browser then closes. In internet options, I have home
page set to BBC.co.uk - however, the home page seems to
reset itself to
http://mysearchnow.com/passthrough/index.htm?
http://www.bbc.co.uk

Is this an example of hijacking??

I have run a full up to date virus check, but found
nothing.

Thoughts?

Nick,
This could have come from the LOP parasite. try the removal instructions at
http://www.doxdesk.com/parasite/lop.html Also, if you find New Dot Net or
New Net in add/remove programs, remove it. Have you just installed Messenger
Plus? You should uninstall that and if you reinstall, don't allow sponsor to
install.

Even if those instructions work, go to http://www.aumha.org/a/quickfix.htm
and work through steps 1-6 to check for other problems. If you haven't
gotten rid of mysearchnow, go to step 7- post a HijackThis log to the forum
at
http://forum.aumha.org/viewforum.php?f=30
