browser closes

Whenever I attempt to connect to my bank's investment
gateway via the links on the bank's home page, the
browser window closes with no messages or warnings. If I
enter the address directly in the browser, I only get
to "www.gateway." before the browser window closes so it
seems to be the gateway part of the address that causes
the problem not the bank's site itself. This is on a
fully updated and patched XP Pro system, the address
works fine on my 98SE laptop attached to the same home
network. TIA

This happens to me with many pages. Try downloading OPERA,
a different browser. There's a free version and a paid
version (without ads)--it's also 10 times faster than IE 5,
6 or any subsequent browser Microsoft invents. I have a
fully patched XP pro system and it doesn't matter. OPERA is
great. You'll like it.
