Internet Addresses I don't want

Everytime I start up IE, I'll get certain website
addresses that should not be appearing. For example, if I
were to type in http://www.r, rollingstone.com
automatically appears. This is despite me not having it
the website as a favorite. I delete my cookies, clear my
history, and delete temp files as well. Yet it still
happens. I've tried searching for a file with
rollingstone in it on my computer, but get nothing. Does
anyone know how I can solve this? I have about 4 or 5
addresses that do this. I mean it's not that big of a
deal, but it gets annoying after a while.

Rob,

Two possibilities:

1. That particular website(s) are present in your Favorites folder, Internet
Explorer automatically populates the filename.url
2. The History is not cleared and the website entry still present in the
Index.dat file (Have you tried Clear History in Internet Options?)

You also can turn off the "Use inline auto-complete for ........" feature in
the Internet Options Advanced tab.

To completely eradicate the internet history, see:

Have you found an answer to this problem yet... cause
I'm having the same issues...
