intermittent internet ... solved!

So, not unusual for BT India, I been having a small issue getting web pages to load ... a retry usually worked ... put it down to the, uh-oh, overloaded cable-to-the-box Xmas season.

This morning, got an orange light on router = no internet. :mad: :cry:

To cut a very boring BT India internet story short ...

Always follow PC-Computing Rule #1, that is ... REBOOT EVERYTHING!!

yeah, well I have had a lot of dealings with BT India. :rolleyes:

I had to do the same thing yesterday morning as my Virginmedia Hub was playing up also

Our firbe optic went down the other day re-booted and still nothing.
The sky wrote to us, gave us £5 of the bill, seems someone stole the cables from the cabinet.
So that's why it was not working!!!!

I had some issues the other day too... Maybe similar issues to you feckit. Was it the 27th?

I had absolutely no issues at all over the festive period.

Apart from I've been suffering from a rather nasty cold since the 23rd :(
