Intermittent cut-off

Has anyone had a problem with intermittent cut-off of PC while on the
internet ... Every half hour or so, if i'm on the internet, my pc clicks and
then my yahoo/msn disconnects briefly then fires back up again ... I have
questioned my ISP provider but they say its my PC and not their connection
.... I have DSL thru AOL (no laughing lol)

What do you mean "my pc clicks"? Do you actually hear a sound? If so,
where is the sound coming from - the computer or the speakers? Do you
have any NetNanny type of software installed?
