OK here is the deal. I have a user with a laptop running Outlook 2003. When
running in cached mode he is unable to create new folder, he gets an error
saying just that "unable to create folder". Now we are also running Outlook
2003 on the Terminal Server on which he is able to create folders and
everything is normal. And furthermore when he logs on to any other machine in
the office and runs the local Outlook 2003 in cached mode or NOT he has no
problem. Clearly this is an issue with his laptop. When we turn off cached
mode we are fine. Unfortunatly he needs a local copy to work with. He has
plenty of disk space. I have unistalled and reinstalled Outlook 2003 to no
avail. The minute we turn cached mode back on BAM cannot create folders but
ONLY on this laptop. Any thoughts on this, I cannot locate any references to
this issue. Ah and yes SP1 was installed for Outlook.
