Addresses Missing in TO drop down box.

Because the user's Outlook 2003 cached file was stored on a network drive I
had to recreate it locally on his laptop by recreating his Outlook profile
and let the cache rebuild itself locally. Since doing this whenever he clicks
on the TO button when creating an email the list of addresses in the drop
down menu is a lot smaller than what it used to be. All of the addresses that
are not in his Contacts list are missing. Is there a way to retrieve them and
where are these type of addresses stored? He is on an Exchange 2003 server.

You can transfer the nk2-file of his old mail profile (<oldprofilename>.nk2)
by renaming it to <newprofilename>.nk2

Note that the nk2-file is only a cache of typed address and has no relation
whatsoever to what is in your Contacts folder. As caches are cleared or drop
items when they become full or corrupted, you should never solely rely on
this.
