thanx Nico (i reallly mean that) but that didn't work :(
anymore suggestions?

i am using xp pro (but a pro i'm not...) how do i
access/change the interactive logon? what i want to do is
to have to press ctrl+alt+del before logon.
:)

I tried,
Start - Control Panel - User Accounts - Change the way
users log on or off.
Uncheck "Use the Welcome Screen" box.
Click Ok. It does require a password but no Ctrl+Alt+Del

Hi xixxt,

Please try the following.

Start - Run - control userpasswords2
Click Advanced.
Check the box for "Require users to press C-A-D."

Hope this helps.

Thanks,
