Intel 845GE Chipset

Hello,
Has anyone developed a component for the Intel 845GE Chipset? We are have
trouble with some of our adapters and believe that because Pro needs this
chipset for on-board adapters to work, we need this to function in XPe too.
Can anyone confirm this?

Have you checked www.xpefiles.com? There are some components for the latest
Intel chipsets under Components\System Devices folder.

The way I did this for the 865 chipset was to:

1. Install the chipset driver provided with the hardware.
2. Monitor the installation with filemon from sysinternals.
3. Grab the inf files during the manual installation.
4. Import them in the usual fashion using component designer.
5. Create a repository and point the components at it.
6. Put the resulting sld into the database.

It worked great, though there are some 82801 drivers that you may need as
well.
