Integrating MSN Messenger and Outlook Express

Cody

As you all probably know, Windows Messenger is integrated
with Outlook Express. I'm starting to like MSN Messenger
better because WM is getting kind of
useless/functionless, and WM 4.7 is kind of getting
outdated.

I am wondering if there is some way to integrate MSN
Messenger with Outlook Express (if I uninstall WM). So
for instance, I will still be able to see who's
online/offline, just by looking in the contacts area, and
not have to open MSN Messenger window.

Thanks for any help!!

Greetings Cody,

Unfortunately due to the way Outlook Express integrates Messenger, MSN Messenger cannot be
used currently in the Contacts pane or be integrated in Outlook Express in anyway (doesn't
matter if you uninstall Windows Messenger or try any other "tricks", it will not integrate).

Man, that's really a bummer. I really wanted a way for
MSN Messenger to integrate into Outlook Express myself. I
just hope Outlook does it and/or the next release of
Outlook to provide this feature if it doesn't already.
