insufficient memory to create the bitmap - Office 2007

I have a user that is continually getting "insufficient memory to create the
bitmap" when working in Excel 2007. This is a freshly built XP box fully
patched with Office 2007 fully updated.

These error do not just appear on a single spreadsheet but on many different
spreadsheets.

There are plenty of system resources available when these errors appear.

I have found several others, by googling, that are having similar issues but
no solutions.

If you have any thoughts or suggestions please let me know.

Thank you.

I am have the same issue with a client's entire network.

They feel there is a connection with the error in EXCEL 2007 and GoldMine
Premier.

Have you come any closer to resolving this issue?

I can tell you that we are not running Goldmine here, and yes we are still
getting this error.

This error appears to getting more widespread, however I have not yet seen
an explanation nor solution to this error.

Similar problems here. I don't have Goldmine, but I get that error when
doing a CTRL PrintScreen to get a screen dump.

I was trying to get a screen dump of the toolbars. Major issues with the
icons disappearing on the toolbar. They sometimes come up when I mouse over
them. Difficult to search on this problem. Anytone else experiencing it?

Just a thought. If you are using an Intel Celeron could the issue be with
the amout of L2 cache?

I believe that the AMD will have more L2 cache than the celeron.

I am having the same issue for approx 3 months now on virtually all the
computers in my office - all xp fully updated - running off MS2003 Small
Business Exchange server. Computers vary from Intel 3 ghz to 2.6 ghz all
with 1gb ram. Only thing I have noticed it only happens when in the Excel
Spreadsheet for over an hour.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

I'm having the same problem too on spreadsheets that have been open for 2
hours or longer. Doesn't anyone out there have any clue as to what might be
going on?

Michael - Intel Celeron problem was a good idea - Just doesn't pertain to my
situation. All computers in my office are Intel Pentium. Any other
suggestions are greatly appreciated.
