Instructions for uploading pictures to website

hello, i am totally new to the picasa software. it works great on
computer as in organizing the pictures and creating a webpage with the
photos. i can't seem to find the exact instructions on how to upload
the pictures to my website in the format that i like? can someone help
me ? am new at this. thanks
