I have recently moved offices and at my last office when an in house e-mail
was sent it was received instantly. At the new office that I am at messages
will only be received at the set interval. I would like to receive the
e-mail instantly.

We had outlook on the server at the previous office and we have the same set
up here. I would also like to create groups in my contacts list to send
messages to multiple individuals at the same time. Where is this option in
outlook.

I am using windows 2000 and I have office 2000 as well.

Who or what are you using for an ISP?

If you had an Exchange Server on site at your last office
they would be able to provide you the instant mail.

If you use another outside source for email at the new
office they may have to "request" mail on intervals to
keep the traffic down on a more limited network.
