Instant Search Pane Problem in Office 2007 Outlook

User on XP SP3

Recently updated user from Office 2003 to Office 2007. Once inside Outlook
2007, the User tries to do a Search of email from a certain user using the
"Instant Search Pane" window and only receives Email from two days ago,
nothing in the past, which indeed there is email from this "User" she is
looking for.

Tried REMOVING the Outlook Profile and creating it again and this did not
work. Next Step was to Rename the Windows Profile Reboot device and Rebuild
it again and this did not work.

Had 3 different people log onto this system and the "Instant Search Pane"
works fine.

She also has a second Desktop that has Office 2003 on it and it is behaving
the same... it used to work in the past.

Any help wouldf be great...

did you rebuild the search index? To do this, go to the Control Panel,
System and Maintenance category, Indexing Options. From the Indexing options
dialog, choose Advanced, then Rebuild.

Thank you for the Solution, Only one issue and tried to look for an answer.
As stated, the user is using Windows XP SP3 but I did not think the OS would
be an issue. The user is using Microsoft Windows XP SP3 but with the "Tablet
PC Edition 2005". Who knew this would be a factor. I looked for "Index
Options" in the Control Panel and can not see it... I found issues with this
Icon missing with Vista but not the OS....

Any idea why or how to get to this Icon with the Tablet version of the OS???
