Instant Search Problems

Instant search for Office 2007 with Vista returns no items - it used to, but
now doesnt. How do I fix it? I have searched message boards here and tried
all the fixes -
adjusted settings in Outlook for searches
checked pst files for corrupted files and fixed
rebuilt index from bottom up
Turned off user account control
allowed all items to finish indexing

still get nothing when I search. I archive folders every so often - can that
be the problem? Help ! I get a lot of email and need a search feature!

Tried the "Restore" option as well instead of the "Rebuild" option?

i don´t know, i think you did tried possible cases. the only thing
could be cached mode.
but this is only relevant for exchange, as far as i know.

i can give you an alternative solution, a search tool. i use Lookeen
(www.lookeen.com) and can advise that to you.
