instant-off

The bios is set for instant-off, but it won't. I have to
hold in the button for a time to turn off the computer. I
want it to shut down on its own, when I select shut down.
 
Your question has nothing to do with Windows 2000 -
it's about your BIOS. Check your motherboard manual,
or check out the BIOS manufacturer's home site.
