Installshield problem

When trying to install new application getting the
following error
Faulting application idriver.exe, version 7.4.0.377,
faulting module nodeipc.dll, version 7.1.4044.0, fault
address 0x00003dd5.

and thus application will not install due to problem with
the installshield


help?

Check with the vendor of the application you are installing.
