event viewer errors and warnings

i've installed and uninstalled itunes 7 at least 3 times and still can't get
the program to work properly. as requested by itunes. followed all thier
troubleshooting and found errors in the event viewer. i think this may be my
problem but i don't know what to do.

source: application error
id: 1000
faulting application itunes.exe, version7.5.0.20 faulting module
quicktime.qts, version 7.3.0.80 fault address 0x0006f1c3.

source: service control manager
id:7000
the ppsio2 service failed to start due to the following error: the system
cannot find the file specified.


i just want itunes to work correctly for my daughters new ipod, please try
to help me.

Hi Connie,

Are you logged in with Administrator rights when trying to install the
program? It looks like the install didn't complete since a particular
file isn't where it was supposed to be. Not having Administrator rights
could cause this issue.

What are your anti-virus and anti-spyware arrangements?

This error suugests that type of problem:
