got error #1000 from event viewer

Hi,

I wonder if anyone might be able to help me with the issue of eventid #1000
as described below

Event Type: Error

Event Source: Microsoft Office 11

Event Category: None

Event ID: 1000

Date: 20/02/2009

Time: 11:55:53 AM

User: N/A

Computer: MUser

Description:

Faulting application excel.exe, version 11.0.5612.0, stamp 3f39ff9d,
faulting module ad2kregp.dll, version 6.0.0.1, stamp 3ec3499f, debug? 0,
fault address 0x00001a18.

I went to the site of eventid to find out the cause and resolution but did
not quite get the solution from there. So i wonder if anyone would not mind
sharing a bit of their experience in getting around this issue.

The laptop runs on XP Pro SP3 and office 03.

Any helps would be greatly appreciated.

So what did you install that added this dll as an add-on to Excel?

Doesn't look like a Windows XP issue, the topic of this forum, nor does
it appear to be an issue with Excel. Looks to be an issue with some
Adobe software that you installed.

Office 11 would be Office 2003. I'm still using Office 10 (Office 2002)
and no such file comes with the install of that suite.
