I have a computer that excel crashes when you try to save/close a document.
Inside the event viewer, there are two related messages, one of which is an
Event ID: 1000 with the following description:

Faulting application excel.exe, version 12.0.6425, stamp 49d64dd6, faulting
module kernel32.dll, version 5.1.2600.5781, stamp 49c4f482, debug? 0, fault
address 0x00012afb

The other is an Event ID: 7001 with the following description:

ID: 1,Application Name: Microsoft Office Excel, Application version:
12.0.6425.1000, Microsoft Office Version: 12.0.6425.1000. This session
lasted 225 seconds with 120 seconds of active time. The session ended with a
crash.

I have tried to uninstall and reinstall the Office Suite but this does not
help. Any ideas on how to remedy this problem?
