Installs same security update over and over

My laptop has been Installing the same security update XML Core Services 4.0
Service pack 2 (KB936181) over and over. Each time is successful. I have
auto-updates turned on, but for some reason it does not recognize it has
already been installed. Other updates are all succesful and complete. I am
running XP SP-2

Try posting in microsoft.public.windowsupdate - they may've seen this
before!

Do a manual update and when 936181 appears scroll down a little and select
'do not show this again'.

Go to add/remove program and uninstall all the msxml 4 updates.
You dont have to click on Show Updates. It will be listed automatically.
Uninstall the other two updates listed rgading the MSXML 4.0

Then download the MSXML 4.0 from this link

Then go restart the computer and check the updates.
