installing Word/Works

When I attempt to install this program,(I just acquired
XP home edition) it asks me for my 25 digit I.D.#. My
certificate of authenticity has only 19 digits. It won't
allow me to download Word or Works. What do I do to
correct this?

Marty, I think it's asking you for your WinXP product key. If you have
WinXP HE installed then go here
download this utility. It will give you the product key.

Rich---Thank you for the advise. I tried what you

suggested and it still won't recognize the XP code. HELP?

Marty, is the MS Works CD a retail version? Do you have the Product
Key for it?
