installing windows xp pro.

I need to install Windows XP Pro. on a loptop. The loptop
already has Windows XP Home edition. Do I need to erase
the hard drive and re-format then install XP Pro., or can
I just install it without deleting anything.

If your copy of XP Professionl is either an upgrade version or a
full version, you don't need to delete anything and can install
it over the top of XP Home.

But if it's an OEM version (which many people confuse with the
full version) it can only do a clean installation.
