Installing SP2

I am trying to finally install SP2 on my Win Xp Pro computer.
When loged on to Window's Update online site, it searches for the updates
that I need, then when completed SP2 is not on any of the lists.
Why is it not on the list? I havn't installed any Window's updates since Dec
31, 2003. I was just planning on just installing SP2.

Start button --> RUN --> WINVER --> OK
What does it say you have?

Make sure you have the latest updates for your hardware and software
packages as well. Some of them had issues with SP2 that you should address
BEFORE installing SP2 and discovering you have issues that are difficult to
fix. Get the hardware updates from the hardware vendor - not Microsoft.

You may want to backup your entire system to an external drive - just in
case things do go awry...

Method 3: If you are running an Intel Pentium 4 or Intel Celeron D processor that is

Check the MSKB to ensure that neither of those "Methods" are present.

I have looked on the Dell web site, and found that all the Hardware/Drivers
and all up to date (2003) and I have already made a copy of all my important
files.

Method 3: If you are running an Intel Pentium 4 or Intel Celeron D processor that is
based on Prescott C-0 stepping

This is not the processor that I have. I'm running Processor x86 Family 15
Model 2 Stepping 7.

and I don't beleive that I am running;
