It has been suggested that I will need to get a new WPA
key code in order to install a second hard drive.

If this is the case, from where within Microsoft is the
request to be made?

any comments welcome

I have 4 hard drives installed and have never had to get a new code.

Hello Mark,

You do not need to purchase another license simply to add a hard drive to
your system. You would only need to do that if you were planning on running
your copy of XP on two or more separate computers.
