I am trying to install PowerPoint 2002 but I keep getting a message that I am
not eligible for download. I have Windows XP with Office 2003. Why can I not
install the older version?

You can't install the older version after the newer ones. Start off by
installing the oldest version first.

Since you can't download PPT 2002, I don't follow you. At what point do you get
this message?

Because MS wants to protect you? ;-)

Seriously, Office 2003 is more stable and bug-free than 2002. It has a prettier
face than 2002 but isn't all that different feature-wise.

Is there some particular reason you need both versions installed?
