Installing Outlook 2003 with existing Outlook 2000 install

I have Outlook 2000 and Word XP. I expect to EITHER get Outlook 2003 or
possibly the full Office 2003. When I install, will the install sequence
automatically UNINSTALL the older programs? And, for Outlook, will the
install automatically import all addresses, folders and emails from the
existing data?

You can only have 1 version of Outlook installed. Word, Excel, Access, .etc
is a different story. (you can run Word 2002 and 2003 side by side but the
default behavior of Office 2003 installer is to remove previous versions.)

Yes for the second question. About the thing that might happen is that you
get an annoying prompt about an LDAP address book if Outlook 2000 is in
Internet Mail Only mode when upgrading. Easily fixable by removing the LDAP
address book from e-mail profile after the upgrade is complete.
