Installing Outlook 2003 on PCs with Office 2002

We've got a bunch of PCs running XP Pro mixed SP1 / sp2 and most are running
Office SBE 2002 with Outlook 2002 configured for Exchange profiles connecting
to our Exchange server.
The server has been recently upgraded to Exchange 2003 (brilliant by the
way). We now want to deploy Outlook 2003 to all desktops, but haven't got
budget to upgrade whole of office to 2003.
Is there an order we should do the Outlook 2003 install in? What about
pre-requisties patches/fixes and once Outlook 2003 is installed should we do
things like run the Office 2003 Service Pack ?.
Can anyone give me a basic pointer?

The basic pointer is to head over to http://office.microsoft.com and read in the Office Resource Kit about the issues related to staged deployments. This is a pretty common consideration, so there's a lot of material.
