Installing old HD into new Computer.

Hi...I can really do with some help...
I had a pentium II 400 MHz, and It went belly-up on me. I went out and
built a computer using an ABIT IC7-G motherboard and Intel P4 3.2 GHz
processor. After getting everything plugged in and operational, the HDD will
not bootup. The BIOS does recognize my harddirve, but when booting up
windows, it says that a change has occurred in the HD contoller and to
prevent failure to the computer Wnidows will not be loaded.

How can I overcome this issue on this HD. There's a lot of work on this HD,
and I would sure hate to loose it.

Any help...?
-Pritesh.
