Are there any problems that I need to be aware of in doing this,
Office XP Pro over Office 2000 Premium? I've scanned the Microsoft
areas and can't really get a good feel for this. I do have some Word
documents, Excel spreadsheets and email that I'd like to keep but I
suppose I could back all that up. Anyone been down this road I'd
appreciate your comments.
Thanks,
Bob

You really need to ask this same question in a group dedicated to MS
Office. However, I have learned over the years that installing a
newer version of Office over the top of an older version usually
doesn't work out too well. My advice is to completely uninstall the
Office 2000 Premium version first. Uninstalling will leave all your
Office documents intact.

Before you uninstall, you will want to backup and keep any special
templates that you created for your Office applications. I believe MS
has a registry cleaner for Office removal that you can download from
their Office web site. That will insure all old registry entries
regarding O2K Premium have been removed.
