Installing new software....

I have tried to install two new types of software on my
new computer & cannot seem to run it. I have Windows XP.
Can someone help me ? I tried to install my Intel WEbcam
and also my new Samsung Camcorder,but it doesn't seem to
want to run it. It says it will mess up my computer. I
need to know what to do. Thank you for any help you can

Go to the websites for those devices/programs and see if there are files
for Windows XP. Perhaps the programs/drivers you have are old and not
meant for XP.

Pati, when installing the software you get a message that the drivers are
not approved or signed off by Microsoft just ignore
it and continue the install. It means that MS didnt test the drivers in
their own labs. Most times it will work OK as long as
they are WinXP drivers.
