INSTALLING MICROSOFT'S ANTISPYWARE WITH TURBOTAX

A message from TURBOTAX THIS AM STATED THAT BY GOING TO
CONTROL PANEL/ADD/REMOVE PROGRAMS, locate ITSDEDUCTIBLE
EXPRESS, and uninstall it. TURBO TAX indicated that
sometimes this program does not appear in ADD/REMOVE
PROGRAMS, and that you have to use the original
installation CDROM to reinstall the program to get it to
appear. Fine kettle of fish. I did go to CONTROL PANEL
this morning and found it in CONTROL PANEL/ADD/REMOVE
PROGRAMS and uninstalled it. It is not possible to get
rid of it any other way such as going to the REGISTRY,
going to its file location location, deleting as I tried
all of that. It is a very persistant program. I did get
a fast response from TURBOTAX. They are trying to do the
right thing. I submitted my latest comment to them at
0225 this AM and received an answer at 0800.

You have to have Admis. rights to access registry. If you
do, the only option left is to uninstall turbo tax, do
the actions, then reinstall it. reply to this post to
keep me updated.

P.S. If the doesn't work, try taking a hammer to your
hard drive!
