Installing managed Directx on xpe

Hi all,
can anyone give me some hinst on how to install Managed DirectX on xpe ?
I tried several ways but none of them is succesfull.

I would particularly need to install the 3DX 1.0.2907 distributed in August
2005 but some general help would also be appreciated.

I already tried to install the Aug 2005 runtime (which is said also for XPE)
but nothing get installed (the installation program ends immediately).
I already tried to install the April 2006 SDK but no managed files are
installed.
The last managed extensions I can install is the October 2004 when the
managed Dx where deployed with the mdxredist installation package which
installs correctly.

For those who might be interested (if any)

Seems that using the DirectX 9.0c components in taget designer the registry
in HKLM\Software\Microsoft\DirectX does not have all the required values.

I actually do not know which vakue is wrong or missing but to solve my
problem I did the following :
I installed the latest DX Runtime on a "normal" XP pc then copied the above
key on XPE pc registry.

After that all DX Runtime and SDK setup procedures works as expected and
install correclty the requested dx versions and all the previous managed
one.
