Managed DX Feb 2006

Some time ago, when I was working to create my XPE image to distribute I
installed the mdxredist.msi file containing October 2004 managed DX version.
Now our main program has changed a little and it requires the latest manged
DX module since it refers to different managed DX versions (2902 for DX and
2907 for 3DX module).
The problem is that I cannot find an updated mdxredist.msi module to install
and trying to install the full redistributable package using dxsetup prorgam
it really does not install anything (on XPE).

Any suggestions to solve this problem ?

Thanks
Francesco

Hi,

I had the same problem a while ago.

Putting the required MDX dll's in the path of your application (or
System32) should do the trick. You can copy the dll's from a XP Pro
install (c:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\DirectX for Managed Code), check
the versions.

Janiek, thanks for your replay.
From what you write, and seen nobody else has answered, it seems there is no
solutions other than that.
I will try.

Thanks
Francesco
