installing Japanese

i cant get this to go what am i forgetting i can use the
ALT+ shift to chang battwine the diffrent languages but
it dosent come out in Japanese it works in Koren with
noproblem how do i fix this

You did not mention if you have Japanese listed on your Language Bar. Do

This may sound silly, but, what happens when you click on Japanese in the
Language Bar?
