Installing Internet Explorer 7.0

I received the Microsoft update message for installing Internet Explorer 7.0
and I have tried installing it three times and after the computer reputs I
get an error message that there is a problem with a driver devise and the
install was unsuccessful. Does anyone have any suggestions?

My suggestion is to not install IE 7.
There are too many bugs.

You should post your question in the IE7 newsgroup *after* you spend
some time reading through the posts there. The IE7 newsgroup is:

microsoft.public.internetexplorer.general

There are a huge number of posts so it would be smart to start by going
to Google Groups Advanced Search. Use a search term that describes your
problem, constrain the search to the IE7 newsgroup and the date to very
recently. You can also check MVP Sandi Hardmeier's canonical IE7 site.
Sandi has workarounds, known issues, troubleshooting, and links. This
may be the only site you need.

For what it's worth I don't agree with Ron's opinion that there are too many
problems with IE7, and his advice not to install it.
