Began install, entered the 25 number key from the cd case, then- Product
Compliance Check box pops up during install..."Setup failed to locate a valid
qualifying product on your machine. Please select the drive where a
qualifying product can be found."...This is the full version of Frontpage
that I purchased in 2002 and never installed. Perhaps an XP problem?...the
website says it is supported for XP....?

If you are getting the prompt regarding a Qualifying product can't be found, then you have an
upgrade version.

You will need to have a FP98 or FP2000 CD in order to install. Office2002 or Office 2003 doesn't
qualify and product that can be used to install a FP upgrade version.

You can run FP98, FP2000, FP2002 and FP2003 under Windows XP Home or Pro with or within SP1, SP1a or
SP2.

I suspect you do have the upgrade version.

The CD should have the word "upgrade" on it, as does the box. The cd jewel
case may or may not have "upgrade" written on it.

It wouldn't be searching for a complying product it it wasn't the upgrade
version.
