Installing FP 2002 Upgrade

Guest

I am trying to install 2002 upgrade on a new computer running XP Pro. I
installed v1.1 and it runs okay. I still get the "can not find qualifying
software error". V 1.1 is on floppies, I copied them over to an SD card and
used that to install v1.1. It runs okay so I believe I have eveything
installed that 2002 should need.

Any suggestions? Thanks.

I've been there. None of those address my situation. I'm runnning a new
system with a factory install XP Pro and a new Office 2003.

Thanks,

Did you read the FP2002 box to see what qualify as a qualifying version of FP? Also the qualifying
product doesn't have to be installed, just inserted into the CD drive when prompted.

Yes, te box indicates that v1.1 is an quilified product. I used it on my last
machine to upgrade to 2002. It is not on a CD it is on floppies, I copied all
floppies over to an SD card and installed v1.1 from there.

Thanks,
Jack

What are you entering or browsing to, when you are prompted for the location of the qualifying
product?

You don't need to install v1.1.
When installing FP 2002, when it asks for a qualifying product, put the
first v1.1 disk in the floppy drive and let it find it.
