Installing English proofing tool-Outlook Express

C

CB

I've been told I can solve the French dictionary problem in Outlook Express
6.0 by installing the English proofing tool from 2003. I have the disk and
when I put it in it starts downloading right away and then asks for the
product key. Forgive my ignorance, but I'm concerned it will install over my
2007. Is that okay? Does it then give me the option to do a custom install
so I can only install the tool? Sorry--I've never done this before.

Yes choose Custom install . It will give you that choice. Then select only the Proofing Tools

If the installation asked for the CD, you'll need another source for a spell
checker.

Peter,
What if you don't have the 2003 disk?
thanks, Bill
