Installing Access

I have an OEM version of Office 97 Pro that I would like
to install on a new PC. All applications install okay, but
I cannot open Access. I am getting a message saying there
is no license for Access on the PC. Shouldn't I be able to
use this product on an upgraded PC or do I have to buy a
new version?

This is a common install bug.

This is a known but and Microsoft has several article in their knowledgebase
that cover it. I would type the exact error message (or a large portion of
it) in to a Google search. I bet you'll find dozens of hits that can answer
it.
