Installing a wireless optical mouse

I just put Windows XP on my computer and now want to
install the wireless optical mouse that is made for
windows xp and I do not know whether I delete my old
mouse from the add remove column before or after I put
the mouse on. The directions they give you do not
include that. Thank You
 
You should not have to delete the old mouse. When you
add the new mouse - Windows should "see" it and take care
of everything for you.

If you have "helper" programs like Logitech's installed -
they will probably remain. Remove or use them at your
choice.
