Installing a program

kim

Hi,

I am trying to install a program Videostudio 8.

I have already installed it on another computer to see if
the disk is ok and it is.

I start the installation process.

After I put the serial code in ok.

Then chooses the folder to put the program in, then when
I press return to carry on I get this message:-

Ulead VideoStudio Installshield Wizard:-

There is not enough space to install these option(s).
Please free up disk space or modify your selections.

I have 47Gb's free on my drive and I use 10 Gb's.

So I have enough space.

I have done disk cleanup, defrag, checked for viruses,
malware and ad ware.

I use a program called window washer to recover any space
that I might have free.

When I try to install the program again I get the above
message.

I have Windows XP 2 Ghz 768 Mb of ram 60 Gb drive and I
also am fully up to date with all updates.

Can anybody help.

Kim.

Kim,

I believe that your problem is caused by VideoStudio, and not Windows.

Please review the installation FAQ's at
http://www.ulead.com/tech/vs/vs80faq.htm. I think that there is an item
there that discusses this issue. You probably need to clean out your temp
folder prior to installation.

Good luck!
