installer in the windows program

When every i try to install anyting on my computer i get an error message
that says that i am running in dafe mode or have a problem. Please help!!!!

Click Start, Run, and type SERVICES.MSC. In the right pane, right-click
Windows Installer, and then click Start. Also, set the service "Startup
Type" to Manual.
