Installed XP Home Edtion over XP Pro, now getting "access is denie

I installed Windows XP Home Edition on top of a previous install of Windows
XP Professional. Now I have a folder that comes up "access is denied" when
trying to open it. I know I had restricted access to this folder in the
previous installation, but now, as administrator, I cannot open or delete it.
Is there a way to fix this?

Yes, Start all over again with a new installation. No one installs Home over
Pro... that would be a downgrade and it does not work that way.
