Every time i try to install a new program it enconters a
error and cannot continue. It encounters errors on such
files as data1.cab, and on Office 2003 it says it can't
find a file when it is clearly on the cd. I've tried
Office 2003, Halo, Delta Force BHD, and Adobe. They all
encounter some kind of errors while installing.

This started to happen when i installed a windows update
on my computer. Does anyone know of such a problem if so
know how to fix it?

Looks like a Windows Installer problem.

I'm having the same problem trying to install 'FAR CRY' on DVD, it can't find Data1.cab - I can't install 'Manhunt' either for the same reason, and I can't find any help anywhere. I've managed to go a whole year without reinstalling WinXP, and I would like to go another year, but I want to play my games! Somebody PLEASE help us!
