Installation / Update Cleanup

I recently installed XP Pro , SP1, and all MS suggested
updates and enhancements.
I now have about 200 Mb of various unistall files, such
as $NtServicePackUnistall$ and $NtUnistallkB282010$.
Is it safe to delete these files? My machine is
operating ok and I would like to recover the disk space.
Also, are there other files that may be safely deleted,
such as log files?
Thanks,
RoyM

If you wish to safely remove the "uninstall files" for the
Hotfixes (i.e. $NtUninstallQxxxxxx$ files shown in Windows Explorer)
and cleanup your Add/Remove Programs list, visit MS-MVP Doug Knox's
excellent website for instructions.

Note: Doug's program only removes the uninstall files and Hotfix entries
in the Add/Remove Programs listing. It does not remove the
actual updates.
