installation process - unable to load files

Howdy,
Just got a new Dell GX620 desktop and am trying to install XP prof. on it.

During the file loading process, I've gotten 2 files that it's been unable
to copy over to the Dell.

1. scmcon.chn
2. ky.sys

I've tried googling them, but can't find a thing on #1, and #2 seems to be
associated w/ Win98.

Anyone have any idea as to what these files are and their importance?
