Installation Problems

Hi all have got a problem i installed a D-Link DWL-G122 wireless usb adapter all seemed to go in ok but when i clicked shortcut prog will not load so i looked in device manager and it doesn`t show up as installed any suggestions would be appreciated.
I am running windows xp home edition with servicepack 2.

If The Device Is Not Listed In Device Management It Is Not Installed.
Have You Tried To Load The Device With The Setup That Came With
The Device?check The List In Add And Remove,maybe You Will Have To
Finish Loading It From There.
