I have just setup my PC with the new Vista beta 2 o/s on build 5384 and I
cant get my d-link wireless adapter to work. The adapter is D-Link Airplus G
DWL-G122 Wireless USB Adapter (rev.B)

I have downloaded the latest driver from their website but that made no
difference and also spoken with d-link tech support and they say cos its beta
they cant support it and just say it will be supported when the final release
is published.

anyone had the same problem and managed to get round it? if so what did you
do?

also has anyone got a wireless usb adapter working on the the build? if so
what make&model of adapter do you have as I may then have to look to
upgrade/change product?

I've elimated the 3.0.22.0 driver from Windows Update as being the culprit.
At this point I have loaded all the updates and the newest G120 driver and
have no problems connecting, disconnecting, and reconnecting my WiFi adapter
to the router or Internet. I still need to confirm that Trend Micro's
PCCillin is the cause of the disconnects, but I hate to do that now that I've
got it working ;-). Sigh. Such is the life of a Beta tester. PCCillin is the
only thing left that could be the cause; so I am pretty confident at this
point, but I suppose that I need to go through the motions to confirm.
