Installation Package NAV.msi

Uninstalled Norton IS w/help of Norton support. Now using firewall router and want to install Norton Anti-virus. NAV will not install; message reads that folder w/ installation package NAV.msi cannot be found. Symantec knowledge document states the XP users need to contact Microsoft directly for help downloading 'new copy of program.' Unable to find info on Microsoft site re download for this. Could someone help with where to get info and/or how to fix without need for paying Microsoft tech support. Thank you.
 
The NAV.msi file is on your Norton installation cd. Point your system to
this file it is looking for

Browsed to D:\NAV\NAV.msi

Result: installation failur

Shouldn't installation Wizard be able to detect the installation folder on the NAV CD?
